DRIVES MISSING? (WXP-Pro)

HI... WHEN I OPEN MY COMPUTER ALL DRIVES ARE MISSING..WHAT IS THE CAUSES?.IS THERE ANY POSSIBLE OPTIONS IN THE REGISTRY?.TO GET BACK ALL DRIVES IN THE DEFAULT STATE?...PLEASE HELP...

In windows xp there is a group policy that can hide C: D: E: F: G: H: I: and so on. Try going to mmc.exe and goto security policy on the local machine and look for somthing to do with this:
"hide drives". if that doesn't work try downloading a policy viewer of some website and look for the policy on that program...
