Error: Object expected - driving me crazy (WXP-Pro)

Hi,

Suddenly I am getting this error in loads of web pages. I don't remember installing anything that might have caused this.

I cannot click the GO button on the reuters page, can't click the download button at google earth etc etc - I basically can't use most web pages anymore and it's driving me crazy!!

Please please can someone help me with this?

I have tried installing the latest version of JRE and that doesn't help.
