Hello, i want to know if it is possible to control "specific" usb ports through registry...
like:
+activate/deactivate (disble/enable)
+change voltage...

that only :-)

Thank you in advance...

(interesting WinXP... but if there is a solution for win98 too it's ok)

Why would you want to change the voltage of the ports? Changing the voltage is not possible, strictly a function of the motherboard. Seems to me ALL USB devices use the same voltage although the ports may not provide quite enough amperage for some devices, may be only 500mA [.5A] in which case a Self-Powered Hub would be useful.

What about disabling/enabling "a" specific port... the 1st..2nd... or any number of it... /?

when i am saying changing the voltage... at lower voltage.... for a project i make...

The USB ports are Enabled or Disabled in the BIOS, it's an all or none setting. Not much else can be done with them, it's a limitation of the motherboard. You might be better off trying to modify a USB Hub.
