Hi,
Sometimes i make use of some one's else computer. i am afraid he may get my passwords. is it possible that he may store my yahoo/hotmail password in his windows xp automatically and later he may use my password to chat with my contacts.

It depends. If the other person has installed keylogger type spy software, he can then steal your passwords. But I believe with normal windows it is not possible. Of course the other persons pc might be infetcetd with similar spyware without that person knowing it. Then your passwords could end up to unknown criminals.
So if you are really worried about your passwords, you should first scan viruses and spyware on those computers before you use your passwords. But that leads easily to paranoia. Can you trust those scanners and so on.

Thanx for reply.
i think there is no need to fall in paranoia as an unknown person has infact no deal with your password . but usually the friends do it .
So my intension was that my password may not be used by my friend on whose PC i used to use internet. For me the ominous thing was that he may be capturing the password some where in registry. as u know registry is key thing in windows.
now i will look at his installed program whether or not the key logger is istalled.
