slow scanning of .jar files

HI,

AOSS version 1.0.0.135 is very slow on scanning cabinet files!

I tried a older version and there where no problems scanning ZIP or JAR files.

What is the time difference from the old version to the new while scanning the ZIP or JAR files? Also how big are the ZIP and JAR files?

Has anyone else noticed this issue?

The old one I downloaded was from about 4 weeks ago.

There are big .jar, .zip and thumbs.db files on my computer but it is now very slow more than 12 hours.

The bigest .jar is 38.000 kb

I experienced the same problem, not familiar with what JAR files are but they seem to be associated with the .jpg picture folders I have. Anyway, I gave up and cancelled the scan after some 8 hours. let me know when you have this problem sorted and I will try again.

Hi,

This application is a great idea but I'm having similar problems. It scans and reaches a file called 10201_database_win32.zip and hangs. It sat on this screen for over 30 minutes before I aborted the scan.

and how many files does it contain? The scanner scans all the files inside the zip file. Maybe the next release should have this optional. What does everyone else think?

Very large file - 650 mb. Is the install kit for Oracle 10.
