Hello,

It is more like devil's intrigues after a sleepless night of struggling with IE that refuses to enable script debugging!! I want to use my Microsoft Script Debugger, so I unmark "Desable script debugging (Internet Explorer)" and "Desable script debugging (others)" in Advanced tab of Internet Options, Tools menu. (I have Internet Explorer 6.0).But when I press OK and open the tab again, the options are disabled again! Over and over again!! Please, does anybody know what more it wants?! Thank you

Just battled the same problem. It probably doesn't help you this late, but it might help others who find this post.

In my case it was because I installed Spyware Doctor the day before. Using RegMon, I could see IE was continually writing the registry setting that controlled this. I don't know how Spyware Doctor did it, but as soon as it was uninstalled, I could see it was no longer being rewritten. I didn't check if there was a setting to disable this behavior in Spyware Doctor - I didn't have time to reinstall and find out.

Thank you very much for your help!! The trouble was still on and I don't think I could figure out the solution without your help (I also have Spyware Doctor)! Thanks again!
