Hello Everyone: A couple of days ago I upgraded my xp to sp2 and the Windows Security Alert screen showed the Antivirus PE as activated, but today I installed the version 7 and I dont know how to get it on to this screen as activated. It is now stating antivirus is Out Of Date? Instead of showing Activated!
How can I get it to say "Virus Protection is ON" like it did with the old version? Thanks

If you are referring to AntiVir PersonalAddition, right click on the icon in the systray and select "Activate AntiVir Guard". Next, select Configure AntiVir.

I had the same problem last week, all you have to do it click on "Start Update" by right clicking the icon on your taskbar, you can view the time it is taking to update or reduce the screen to the upper right hand corner of you pc. It may take 5 or 10 minutes, then when it is done the windows security screen will read Antivirus is "ON", thats all.
You will see this Out of date error each time you need to Update. Tom G
