Hi!

I have a question about online virus scanners. I have tested a lot of them and with every scanner i chose to scan "My Computer" (so that'll be all drives on my comp.). The strange thing is that with every scanner, there are a different amount of files scanned. What may this be caused by? Some scan compressed files, some dont etc... Would be glad to heard Your opinion about this. For example one scanner scanned a total of 88000 files, another one 37000 and a thrid one 160000. These number vary greatly and i can't understand why.

Thanks in ahead!

Many AntiVirus programs allow configuration of the scan options. I use AntiVir PersonalEdition and you can configure the scan options.
