hi
i need urgent need from anyone who can help me for my computer over heating problem I myself is an animation student so currently my pc is working day and night say approx for 12 hrs/day and my configuration is p 4 with 3.00 ghz intel 915 motherbrd 1 gb ram and 256 mb graphics card
and problem is mostly in night my pc gets stuts off automaticaly and when i iopen it again it shows me it has shut down due to overheating so plz tell me wat shud i domy smps is of 350 watts well i donot have ac but my room is very airy i have large open windows so plz help me soon it will be really gr8 if some one help me

Download and install this <a target="_blank" href=http://www.intel.com/design/motherbd/software/idu/>Desktop Utility</a> so you can get some idea from where the overheating is originating. My guess is that your CPU is overheating and you will need to purchase a higher end CPU fan/heat sink.

Maybe you should open your box to check if the fan is spinning. If it doesn't, you may need to check if dust stopped from spinning or you may need to replace a new fan
