Hi,

I have been asked to research ways to monitor the network because people have been complaining about things being slow. Because the bloke in this school wants it to have the best network he wants to find out what might be causing the problem and if infact there really is a problem. e.g logon/logoff times, application response times etc. and then take that data and compair it against other benchmarks from other schools which are known to have fast networks and see how ours compairs.

So the reason for this post was to see if anyone knew of ways to monitor such things and aquire the data because im really lost and dont even know where to start! It is a completley windows based network with fibre links running to different cabs accross the school so bottle necks should not be the cause of the problem!

Regards,
Ben.
