For OS: Windows 2000 Pro and XP Pro

Many users save passwords to simply access to websites. For security reasons, we want to force users to enter a user and password every time they logon to the locally managed website. As users are based all over the country and have personal settings such as Save Password Prompts etc, it is not so simple.

1. Is there a way to remove the Save Password Prompt, on all browsers, when accessing all sites?
2. Is there a way to remove the Save Password Prompt, on all browsers, when accessing just our intranet site?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Dave

I dont know about removing it, but you can go to delete the temp files and cookies every day. I used cookie monster to eat those cookies and you must clear the temp files as well. That way, user will have to enter password every time.

Thanks – but is there an IE\registry setting that can be applied so the users’ password is not saved and are also not prompted to save password.

Cheers
