Hello I have a Linksys Wireless USB Network adaptor that is not currently plugged in to use but I keep getting a Windows warning pop up.
"access violation of address 00427441 in module 'WUSB54Gv4.exe' read of address 00000368"
I get this warning in a windows popup when I trun on my computer. Sometimes I get mulitple ones, 10 times maybe.
Anyone know why that is, how I can correct it and what it means.
Thank you

Could be bug in that Linksys Wireless USB Network adaptor driver. Check from manufacturer if there are any updates.

I'm having the same daily problem since installing Linksys wireless router and adapter two weeks ago. Wireless works intermittently. I've spent $200 on tech support and it still isn't fixed. I'm connected now by cable and the wireless is disconnected; at some point, it will suddenly be connected. If I leave the computer for an hour or more, it will be disconnected when I get back. Does anyone know the solution. The paid tech person helping me downloaded drivers, but I don't know which ones they were.

I should add that I've also tried to get help from Linksys, by phone and by email. Neither has solved the problem. One finally pointed me to Microsoft article 884787 and told me Gateway would have to help me. Gateway told me my computer 827GM was not wireless capable, so I must have put a new card in, and so he couldn't help me. The tech person said he did not put a new card in and I must have misunderstood what the Gateway guy meant.
