View Full Version : Something weird in Add/Remove Programs (WXP-Pro)

One of my users has a hugh gap in his Add/Remove Programs list (see Links below). The 1st pic is the top of the list, and the second is toward the bottom of the list. Take note of the position of the scroll bar. Notice that in both pics it is Very small and in pic 2 how far down it is. I have an app that can manually remove items from this list I’m planning on using it. But I was wondering if anyone has seen this before.

See uninstall information under registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall. Locate software package just before the big gap. Check if the "DisplayName" property contains lot of line feeds. That could explain the gap. I don't know what else could cause that gap.

I am betting, without looking at the picture, that it is AutoCAD.

strange, iv never seen such a thing...
check if the 'windows installer clean up' utility helps u...
