I am having trouble getting Internet Explorer to work as a WebDAV ("Web Folders") client. When I try with the username (e.g. "http://username@foo"), I get "HTTP 405 - Resource not allowed". When I try without the username, I get "Internet Explorer could not open http://foo as a Web Folder. Would you like to see its default view instead?"
I've tried MSIE with and without a web proxy (Squid+Dansguardian), but the proxy makes no difference. Also, I've tried toggling "Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections" in Options. Furthermore, I have successfully tested the WebDAV server with Konqueror and Cadaver, so it's just MSIE that is giving me problems.
Client system:
Windows 2000 Pro
MSIE 6.0.2800.1106
MSDAIPP.DLL 8.103.5219.0
Server:
Apache/2.0.54
