View Full Version : how can lock the system time?

i using puch clock system but the problem is the staff can change the log in and log out time. my computer is system is pentium III and Windows 98

I don't know if this is possible in Windows 98. It is in XP, however. You might consider finding the timedate.cpl in the system directory and renaming it to timedate.old. This might cause an error but at least no one could change the time!

Now for Windows XP....

Go into Local Security Settings--&gt;Local Policies--&gt;User Rights Assignment

Change "Change the system time" to the users you want.
