i have reinstalled windows 98SE and when i restarted i got this windows protection error. i have posted about this before but i couldn't find the post i know that they told me to edit some file while in dos but when i would try to edit the file it open up and be blank with no writing in it. how can i fix this? and please dont give me the link to the microsoft help page because that didn't help. it just made me more confused.
