I have a fresh install of XP Pro with SP2 integrated/slipstreamed. I have tried to change the location of the default "Program Files" folder using the following keys:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\SFC]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Se ssion Manager\SFC]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Control\Se ssion Manager\SFC]
I have done this in the past with XP Home and XP Pro (no service packs). This time, it will let me make the change, but when I reboot the PC it goes back to the install setting. I am doing this under an Admin account.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
