Our server keeps spiking at 100% and the only way to work again is to reboot. Winlogon.exe takes up all the CPU. Scanned for viruses etc and it is clean. Had problems with the print services (keep needing to restart) could this be related and if so how do I re-install the print services?

The file could still be a worm. Check some of these pages:

It's possible. Are the Print Spooler and Server the same machine?

Just thinking out loud, I'd wonder if having a separate machine for the Print Spooler/Print Server would work. As far as cost goes that may be cheaper that any lost-productivity cost.
