cannot register new tweak manager (WXP-Home)

have bought tweak manager and entered my serial number and the opening window notes that I am the licensed user

also if I go to help window and select about I am shown as registered user

but then the first time I then try to activate live update I am told

Your Tweak Manager License has not been activated, please enter your registration information and try again.

then the second time I try to get a live update I am told program cannot find file ... TWEAK MANAGER\temp\_tmp.tmp. So I did an
uninstall and reinstalled

So I go back to Tweak Master and enter my license # at first opportunity -- same thing ... so I try to get live update from the top task bar whereupon it asks me to reenter my name and license # - which I do .. but when I try to register I told Failed to create the file My system is now frozen I must force application to close using Task Manager

I restart Tweak Manager but I now told I am running an evaluation copy ... so I try to register the now designated evaluation copy -
to the same result

I have done this several times .. even to the point of uninstalling and completely removing all references to Tweak Manager within
my registry.

Each time I get to the same point. BTW on each reinstall ..early on I am asked to enter license # which I do and select
register whereupon there seems to a brief interaction with something... but again each time I try to get a live update it asks

but I cannot use live updates ...

please help me :(

Just a question, you are connected to the 'net at the time of the Activation prompt and Register prompt, aren't you? I only ask as I didn't see it mentioned.

yes I am connected to net ... further I have sent emails to every possible source of a solution and no one as yet has responded ... where can I get help
