The permissions for registry key,
USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\SystemCertificat es\Root\ProtectedRoots
are set as SYSTEM(Full) + EVERYONE(Full).
Belarc advisor suggests removing the EVERYONE permission and adding ADMIN(Full) + USER(read only).
When I reboot after makin the changes the permissions are back to previous setting.
I have tried making the changes in safe mode but have no idea what else to do to keep the settings I want on this reg key.
Anyone know how to stop the system defaulting permissions on this reg key.
