When i looked with msconfig, i noticed that there are 4 listings on my startup procedure:
NTUSER.dat
ntuser.datlog
ntuser.ini
ntuser.pol
How do i remove these items from my msconfig
because when i turn them off and i reboot, they are there again, i do not know which services starts them.
Or is it a key in my registry, please help, i don't understand this.

I'm going to be blunt here and say that you need to learn what those files are and the importance of them.

There's a lot of learning needed for NT Technology, whether WinNT 4, Win2000 or WinXP, and what can be done and what mustn't be done.

That certainly is more information that wasn't in the first post. How many users are set up in Win2000?

There is only 1 profile account (user with it's document & settings folder) and there are 3 user account (only for logging in from other machines, they don't have there own folder)

As BertImmenschuh mentioned you *really* don't want to get rid of these files. These files are required to load your profile. Is there something specific you're trying to accomplish?

no, i do not want to get rid of these files, but they suddenly show up in my msconfig.
Alongside my normal start up programs there are now suddenly 4 ntuser.* files under common startup, they were never shown before, so why are they suddenly there ?
