Hi,
I have a fault with my windows XP home registry. It thinks I have installed a new IDE Controller and keeps trying to install this and a new Primary and Secondary channel at startup. This is causing a conflict at startup which is causing the system to immediatly shutdown. I have a second PC to which I can slave my HDD and edit the registry from there. What I dont know is where windows stores the registry file on my hdd. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
