Loss of file access (WXP-Pro)

If I was able to access files and printers over a wireless network on a server what can cause a loss of access and what would be the fix? I have gotten two different error mesaages with this problem:

1. a semaphore time out and

2. network name no longer available.

when you get this message can you ping your server? Sounds like you have lost wireless communication. You need to test until you figure out where the break is.
