Hi .... as the subject says, my windows 2000 is not able anymore to boot.

It stop whit the windows of the Bar.

so I tried with F8, but also is I go in "Safe mode"
it hung during the boot while it is posting messages.
More exactly:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system 32\ntoskrnl.exe
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system 32\hal.dll
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system 32\KDCOM.DLL
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system 32\BOOTVID.DLL
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system 32\config\system
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system 32\c_1252.nls
<It hungs here>

Does anybody know if this could mean something?
Something connected with hardware or is sure a software problem.

I don't receive information as "file corrupt or not present" ... the computer hungs in this situation.

Does anyone is able to say to me which file is exactly the c_1252.nls .... I mean which function it had, what it controls .....

Thanks a lot,<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by kloghman on 07/14/05 04:30.</FONT></P>

Do you have an USB keyboard? That file is the locale for your system...
