Hey guys I was wondering if you guys could tell me how I can overclock my CPU, how long I should keep it running overclocked of course and what it is useful for.

...and what it is useful for.

In these days where you can get a 2+ GHz P4 or 3000+ AMD for around a $100...not much I'd say.

Any more its exactly as useful as hopping up your car. You do it just to see how fast you can make it go without blowing up.

As for the how to, and a <a target="_blank" href=http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2005-26,GGLG:en&q=overclocking>Google search (http://www.extremeoverclocking.com>Extremem) will get you all the info you could ever want, and then some.

"what it is useful for"

space heater or extreme hardware testing :)

On the brighter side , it does "even reading up on it" give you more insides, knowledge etc. on computers that is.

Keyboard error or no keyboard present

press F1 to continue ; Del to enter setup

Are there any over clocking programs that are VERY user friendly and newb friendly? I used to have one that came with my MSI motherboard and it was really good program too, If someone has the program that im talking about then please give me a download link to it, I'm not sure what the program is called either.
