share ---- ADMIN$????

Hi all,
I am trying to install my symantec AV from a server computer to a client via the LAN. But the installation cannot be done as i have a message telling something that i need to enable share on ADMIN$ on the client computer.

Can anyone please help, how to share this folder, i am not able to find the location of the folder.

The admin$ share is on \winnt\system32. If your login on the other computer has administrator access on that computer, you should have access to that share.

if its not there, go to permission on \winnt\system32 and share the folder as the name admin$

but I really really doubt if your installing that product as power user or local admin your going to get that message, you must be login as a "user" or "guess"
