Hi All

Does anyone know where I can get a list of system files with a description of their purpose for all or any of the Windows operating systems?

Don't know about the descriptions but I have extracted all the files from the .cab/Cabinet files on the Windows 9x/ME CDs and made a list of them. The .cab files contain many files in each and are compressed to save room.
