i have a wireless network at in my home. When i reformatted my desktop i must have messed something up. I can see and transfer files fine between computers. My problem is when im on the desktop and im in network places i can see my laptop(powerbook). now when im on the laptop i can't see the desktop. You might think it 's something with the powerbook but when i set up a network with another laptop(dell) it still would not recognize the desktop. What do you think im doing wrong? This is driving me crazy!!

I guess you need to share at least one folder or a printer on your desktop (usually it is indicated by this little hand at the left bottom edge of shared resource icon).

i have a few folders that are shared and i still can't see them when using the laptop.

Can you see your desktop itself and browse those shared folders when you are on the desktop in its network places?

But... I ask for what do you see in network places on desktop. Do you see the desktop itself?
