OLEAUT32.DLL will not start. (W98)

Hi everyone,
I got my PC started---but it has error--"OLEAUT32.DLL will not start" plus the background is white, all I see is "Restore My Win. Desktop".
It runs for a while then crashes, some apps work and others don't.
Any help will be appreciated...thanks Tom for sending me to 'Bootdisk.com',

Try this ... it could be that the .dll needs to be re-registered. Type <font color=blue>regsvr32 oleaut32.dll</font color=blue> in the Run window and click OK.
