I have two 2000 systems and am sharing a printer on them. I shut them down every night. Each morning when I turn them on I have to go to my network places and browse to the computer that has the printer connected to in before you can use the printer on the remote computer. I actually have to log into the computer over the network (the one with the printer) with a user name and password. Is there a way to get the system to log in automoatically so the printer can be used without going to my network places.

Create a user account on the machine with the printer attached. The account should exactly match (username and password) the account that is logged in on the remote machine.
After this you may still have to do it once, I don't recall, but from then on the two machines should negotiate the connection and agree on the matching accounts without any input.

I think I already have done this but I will double check and make sure the name is the same.
