my win98 booting process get paused for few seconds plz help

Get a copy of the free and standalone program <a target="_blank" href=http://www.answersthatwork.com/Downright_pages/downrights_assorted.htm>BootLog Analyzer</a>.

Follow the instructions on that same page.

Using this utility to look for "Failed" or 'Delayed' items will allow you to see what is the cause of your boot delay.

It can not fix it but you will then be able to ask for further help by knowing the problem.
