I have Win98se on a P2 200 computer. When I went to start it and it could not find win.com so I tried to fix it through scandisk accessed by using the start up floppy and the w98se CD. All of the problems seemed to be fixed as I went and then it started to install W98. At some point the EULA came up and it asked for a mouse click on "I Agree". My mouse is a USB mouse since the computer is a P2 and I don't have the original serial mouse. Without a mouse there seems to be no way to click "I Agree" and the installation will not proceed. The arrow keys wouldn't do it. This seems to be a catch 22. I know it's an old computer but it is used mainly for email and word processing which it will do fine.
Thank you

All you need to do is get a USB to PS/2 adapter (about 1-3/4" long and green) and plug it into the mouse port on the back of the box. You might have one laying around ... they ship with most all mice.

what you need to do is during the installation when it say click here look at the word their should be one letter underlined look for the letter and hold ALT+ the letter for exaple when you click accept usually the A is underline so you would press ALT+A and in clicks that box withought a mouse TADAA :)
