Had a search for this but couldn't find anything. There was something closely related to it but not exactly.
Anyway, this is my problem: i can not display web pages in a new window.
so for instance if you go to http://www.aapracingandsports.com.au/racing/index.asp you'll notice all news articles open in a new smaller window. What happens when i click these links is the computer freezes for 5-10 secs than just carries on as if i never pressed anything in the first place.
The same also occurs if i right click a link and press "open in new window". The comp. freezes for 5-10 secs than simply continues as if i never did a thing.
Also annoyingly if i recieve an e-mail which contains an internet link, i'll click on the link and the same occurs - the comp. freezes than carries on as if i never did a thing.
I have stopped all pop up blockers, and i have downloaded Registry Mechanic to see if it's something in there.
This is extremely annoying as a lot of web-sites i use on a frequent basis (like the one above) have links which open in new windows and i just simply can not open a link in a new window at the moment automatically or manually.
