Hi all,
Sorry, i don't know if i have chosen the corect section, but maybe someone can help me here
I have a problem with my computer. When I starting my computer, windows cannot be loaded. I am getting an error which is as follows:

While initializing device NTKERN:
Windows protection error. You need to restart your computer.”

I have tried to boot in safe mode, but in vain.
Initially I thought that my windows had crashed. I started in DOS mode and I could see all my files. So I connected my hard Disk to another computer for backup and surprisingly I could boot the computer using the same hard disk(that is the one I removed from the faulty computer) and it loaded windows normally.

I have no idea where the problem is, grateful if someone can help.
Thanks in anticipation.

This may help: Err Msg: While Initializing Device NTKERN: Windows Protection. Note this applies to Win98 & ME.
