firewall how to add (WXP-Pro)

hi there all
how can i add a program to my blocked list of windows firewall (SP2 installed), so as when i start the program it does not go on line to cheek for updates, that sort of thing just need to know how to add a .EXE to the bloked list.

You can't do that with XP's Firewall; it has no outbound protection capability. You need to download a third party firewall such as <a target="_blank" href=http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/freeDownload.jsp>ZoneAlarm's free edition</a> to achieve bidirectional protection.
