Recently, I have been having problems with my desktop computer giving me the error message "TCP/IP network transfer protocol not installed" which is causing me to be unable to access the internet on my desktop. I have reinstalled the TCP/IP protocol multiple times, but it does nothing to assauge the problem. My laptop however, is able to connect to the internet just fine. Can anyone help me with my problem?

Reset the TCP/IP settings with <a target="_blank" href=http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;299357>the command NETSH</a>...

You could also try <a target="_blank" href=http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=257>Winsockfix</a>
