Hi,
I'm in a really pickle,I just bought a used laptop
and the person never told me the password, so now I want to put a new Operating System on it put it has no CD, DvD, or Floppy Drive.
Please Help!!

Since you need an OS to run the USB ports, they're out if contemplating an External CD/DVD or hard drive.

What I've done is use a 2.5" to 3.5" IDE adapter and put the Notebook hard drive in a Desktop as a Slave, partition and format it, then copy the I386 folder plus the files in the root of the CD to a folder [call it Install] on the hard drive, put it back in the Notebook, and start the installation from there. If there's enough room you could copy the full CD.

Win2000 and WinXP can use either FAT32 or NTFS 5 formatting, just can't create or format FAT32 partitions larger than 32GB.
