I am unable to ping a laptop (Windows 2000 Pro) on network (by name or by IP) or map drives to it. I am able to map drives and ping other PC's and Servers from that laptop.
The laptop appears in Network Neighborhood. Has "File & Printer Sharing" enabled. Has Workstation and Server Service running. Has a folder shared with Everyone, Full Control. There is a Admin share on C and D drive.
No Firewall on laptop running. If you Ping by name, IP resolved but No Reply

Any thoughts or Idea's I can try to get this going?

Here is what I have already tried:

Has TCP/IP from DHCP. Matched DNS and WINS settings with other PC's. Netbios over TCP/IP enabled. Tried it with/without NetBuei.
Added entries in HOST and LMHOST (it doesn't have resolution issues anyways).
Ran Spybot/Adaware, checked for Firewall, removed everything extra loading at Startup.
Changed Computer name, added it back to the Domain.

I also removed the TCP/IP protocol on my network connection and re-added. I was able to ping the laptop and make a connection until I rebooted. There has to be an underlying OS issue somewhere but I can't seem to find it. I thought IPSec might be an issue but I'm unfamiliar with that. This issue came about just a few days ago. The only software updated was Spybot S&D detection rules.
