So , When a windows2k client log on to a win2k network, it looks to the pdc emulator or the global catalog?
who really log on(or validate) the client to the network? the pdc emu or the GC?
2.The client must have the dns configured? , and that dns MUST be a Domain COntroller? we have unix dns and the clients are pointing to them, so that means they will not log on??
3.When the hard disk of the Domain Controller (thas hold the pdc emulator)crashed, the users will not be able to log on until I transfer/seize that role????
