Modify registry

Hi!
I need modify a key of registry from VB6, the problem is what I know how modify in my PC (Windows 2000) but in a PC with Windows 98 or 95, this key is noy equal.
¿Why the keys of registry are not equal in all the PCs?

Hello

It's not the PC's it's the version of windows, windows NT is a totaly diferent system then the series of windows 95,98 & ME, Even though the mayority of the programs run ok in both systems.

The OS (Operating System) determens what you can install and can not on your machine, It's like the model of the car Toyota makes all kindas of Cars, you can't fit the Tires of a Big 4x4 on small toyota Tercel, It's the same thing with 98 and NT they were both designed to do something different, so the heart wich is the registry are different. I don't know if I was able to explain it well *lol*, But even though they are a Microsoft Product they are similar in a way but very different in others.
