service pack 2 (WXP-Pro)

Hi....I got a problem when I try to install service pack2 it show it cannot copy thie file BRANCHES.INF
and it wont bypass that point can somebody help
is in on a laptop dell

When you receive the error search for the file on your hard drive and rename it, then click Retry

Make sure the file isnt read-only and rename it to BRANCHES.old
