Log in problem.

OOps. My son had Funny.exe on his PC so I looked it up and found the removal instructions. This told me to change the userinit key in the registry. I didnt read it properly and deleted the key. Now XP logs off immediatly after logging in. Is there anyway of resolving this without a rebuild?

Can you log in safe mode? (if not boot it up with win98 or dos if it is under fat32)

or is it under fat32?

if so, do that and restore the userinit file (if it is not in recycle bin)
