Is there a way to recover my administrator account and password once the administrator account is rename. How can you tell all of the accounts created on my machine with an account the have no admin rights?

User account settings are found in the User applet in the Control Panel. There you can rename accounts and change security settings from Administrator to Limited Account and visa versa. I'm not sure if I understand your question entirely, but if you boot into safe mode on XP Home the "administrator" account logon is available. If a password was not chosen when XP was loaded onto the machine you should be able to logon to the system without a password. From there you can go to the user applet and make changes.

ERD Commander
<a target="_blank" href=http://www.winternals.com>www.winternals.com</a>
permits you to change the password to something else and will allow you access. But its $149.

Format and reload will do it too.
