If you mean something like Word or WordPerfect, No. That is coded in the program.

You can easily change the name of standalone executable such as defrag.exe to umakanth.exe by right clicking on the executable and selecting Rename.
It will still run as Defrag.
But not with programs that need to have their name within their registry paths like Word or Excel.

As I understand what you want to do, in Internet Explorer it is called 'branding' and done by ISPs. You can change that in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main Window Title key.

While viewing this webpage go to IE View, Source and you will see:
<html>
<head>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="/stylesheets/winguides.css" type="text/css">
<title>Windows Support Forums - Hw to change the title of any App... (WXP-Pro)</title>
In my Title bar I also see:
Windows Support Forums - Hw to change the title of any App... (WXP-Pro) - Comcast
The protion that is in bold is the only part that you can change as noted by Bert. Mine was changed to read just "Comcast".
Instead of showing "Comcast" you can change it to read as "Uma" if you want so you would then see:
"Windows Support Forums - Hw to change the title of any App... (WXP-Pro) - Uma"
You can not modify the "Title" of the webpage you are viewing unless it is a page you have authored and/or have the authority/permission to change. In the later case you can name the "Title" anything you like.

No report_2,
Im sorry if I mislead U...I wazn't talking abt the Title of any Website, I waz talking abt the Title of any App whatever we open...I waz asking whether any Tweak there in Windows Registry to change the Title of each App in their correspoding Registry entries?
Like, if we open any Application, each App will appear in the "TASKBAR" with a title, I wanna change that one...
Thanx,
Uma.

Then it looks like we are back to Bert's original response of:
"If you mean something like Word or WordPerfect, No. That is coded in the program."
Additionally most, if not all, license agreements include a line similar to the following:
"You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify or create derivative works of the Product"
