Hey guys, thank the lord I found this forum, ok I've got all the gadgets, norton, netspy, metastop, anyways when i go to device manager, and collapse all of the different programs and hardware, there seems to be about double or triple as many things under the headings, theres 3 motherboards, like 4 PC BUS, and I looked at the properties of the adware or whatever was causing my netspy to act up, and it said it was a windows driver , as did another thing on net spy.... can someone give me the correct list of drivers I should have or a # at least so I can figure this out, i dont wanna delete random drivers. thanks

All may be O.K. - because of your motherboard e.g. contanis more than one PCI slot (perhaps exactly 4 - so there exits four instances of their driver). Do not speculate - if you have not some problems. Have you any? For instance, does appear yellow- or red- marked in Device manager?
On the other hand, I experienced drivers doubling, tripling, etc. (mouses, floppies, keyboards, ...) in Device manager in W9x - IMHO they were registry entries only, not really running programs. Try check it in MS system info.
