Hello,
I just got my computer back from the shop and found that it was loaded with spyware. When I got it back home, I decided to give your program a try, only to find that it's worked too well?
I have a program called MusicMatch Jutebox which I've had for about 4 years with no problems until now. Spy Doctor says there's spyware in one of the componants needed to burn cd's with. I've paid for the version Plus and now can't use it! I've written numerous letters to musicmatch and this is what the Priority Tech Escalations said in his last letter to me:
'We encourage you to contact the program manufacturer (which in this case is Spy Doctor) to enquire about this issue. While it is unlikely that the mmc.xml file is corrupted or contains the type of content the spyware detector describes, this warning should not be ignored.
The mmc.xml file (...which I haven't been able to find yet), is installed with Musicmatch Jutebox and contains supported CD and DVD recordable drive settings, eg. name, speed, ect. Often times spyware applications tend to look for particular string and/or binary pattern information within the filename and/or file contents. Because of the way that these applications detect suspected malicious files, they are not 100% accurate in their identification. Benign files are often mistakenly identified as containing information that match patterns simular to those of spyware or virii.'
Can you pleae help! I dont want to lose that music program.
The Technical team of Musicmatch were very good with their guidance to show me how to completely uninstall and re-install the whole program, but I still get the same error windows popping up. Some of the errors that came up when trying to re-install that component are:
'MMJB caused a general protection fault in module SIS620V.DRV at 0001:00003cb3
