Jim and Please Update??

Although I won't be browsing with Internet Explorer or my newly recent installed Mozilla... out of the blue all these windows (either IE or Mozilla) pop up with messages in blue that say Jim or Please Update...
This is the weirdest thing ever... And I tried like Adware + Spyboy S & D. Any ideas?
