exe virus?? (WME)

had to extract wininit, regedit, sound volume, notepad, and many others from cab. Anti-virus does not detect anything. I have Me running now, but still need to find the virus!!
Also, System Restore will not recognize prior months.

Are your anti virus definitions up to date? Try running an online scan with <a target="_blank" href=http://housecall.trendmicro.com/>Housecall</a>. Sometimes it will find bugs that others may miss.
