separate groups (WXP-Pro)

For xp, when IE or any programs get to more than 3 instances, it goes into one group. How can separate them and let them not to fall into groups??

If you are referring to programs on the Taskbar, right click on it, select Properties and uncheck "Group similar Taskbar buttons".
