when I download any executable and either move it copy it burn it to a CD, basically anything that requires data to be copied, results in the executable being corrupted, I share my files on a network and other users who do not use XP can copy move read etc the file and run it with out errors, the exact same file is shared on a server leaving it where it is and trying to install it results in a corrupt file, yet other users that have access to the share get away with it, the program im trying to install is 3dmark 2001 se and I want to take it home, if I copy it burn it or in anyway move the file it gets corrupted, ok i think im going round in circles, any help is appreciated,
